What’s next for Tracie Travels?

If you’ve been following along like the dedicated travel blog reader that I hope you are, then you may have noticed that things have been a little quiet at Tracie Travels. My apologies for the absence! Instead of giving the excuse that I’ve been very busy, I will tell you the truth. I have been prioritizing my time in other areas, both indirectly related and unrelated to the blog.

First off, the busy wedding season is gearing up and I will need to focus more attention on Tracie Howe Photography. In fact, I’ve almost completed a much anticipated project with a fellow photographer friend. We recently photographed a styled elopement in a stunning location here in Washington state. The idea (for me at least) is to present the kind of work I’d like to be doing, such as beautiful scenic destination weddings or destination elopements. Here’s a sneak peak for you if I’ve piqued your interest.

On the travel industry front,  I have decided to attend TBEX Thailand in October. After that I will continue south and into other Southeast Asian countries which I haven’t decided on just yet. I hope to work not only with Thai tourism boards during that trip, but also with Thai wedding venues. So if you know of any gorgeous wedding venues in south Thailand and beyond, feel free to send them my way! I’d love to collaborate on some photography projects!

I’ve also been toying with the idea of leading some night photography workshops in Seattle. I’m not sure when this would happen, probably only when I have some extra time on my hands. I’d love to hear from you if you’re interested though! The more interest, the more likely it will happen! I’m not sure where the idea came from.  Perhaps inspiration from my friend leading Seattle walking tours at Immersus Tours ? Either way, it’s something I think photo enthusiasts in Seattle would really enjoy!

That’s about it for now. I wanted to pop in, say hello again, and let you know what will be next for Tracie Travels. I look forward to sharing it all with you, so keep coming back. And as always, the best way to stay up to date is to subscribe to my blog posts. Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to let me know if what I’ve mentioned in this post is of any interest to you!
